You can get away with that with Little Los. But does she cut the girls hair too? We'll cut our daughter's bangs, but other than that it's strictly a job for the pros!
As you were reading the instructions on the computer, Losiah looked at the camera like, "I can't believe they are actually going to try this, can you?"
As a hair professional, this made me vomit in my mouth a little. Step AWAY from the clippers! Not that Sport Clips are really considered "professionals", but they do know not to use clippers without a guard. Thankfully, the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one is about three weeks. And when you're that cute… you can pretty much rock anything!
Yep, I gotta get on learning how to do hair real quick. I can do black people's hair like a pro: braiding, weaves, even cutting, etc etc etc. But I even find it difficult putting non-black people's hair into a ponytail without bumps…. an example was my foster sister. Don't want my black kids to look fabulous and my non-black kids to look jacked…
Meh, I have time. No kids of my own any time soon. Buuuuuut Losiah – all your kids – will look cute with whatever hair cut. Thank God for professionals though…
Seriously, as a Hair Stylist…..this is the freakin funniest thing to watch! I love it! I am seriously cracking up. I can't tell you how many stories like this has made me money…ha! He seriously will look just as adorable with any haircut!
Reminds me of the "haircuts" my dad would attempt to give me when I was little, except he wouldnt take me to a barber or stylist afterwards. I should probably be in therapy …
That was so funny! We've had a couple of clipper mishaps with our boys too… Once, my hubby cut their hair all over with a #1 guard right before Christmas holidays! I had to explain to EVERYONE why they looked like cancer patients!! It does grow back quick thankfully
He looks cute no matter what though.
What is the point of the site overall? I have read comments on multiple threads and see no point to anything. A youth pastor from my old church had been raving about this site, so I checked it out….but I can only scratch my head. Is it just socializing? Is there anything of import printed here?
I just woke my daughter up because I was laughing so loud! When the camera goes to Losiah while you are reading how to cut his hair…his face is priceless! Poor kid was probably scared to death! He's rockin' that new style!
OK I love it. when i saw what you all did, i was dying. I think now it looks SO very cute. I like it better now than when it was long. when ever i see kids with hair hanging in their eyes, the teacher in me thinks, "how can they see??" so i am digging this new look. he can see!!
I've had the clipper mishap myself. Thankfully, there are stylists who don't laugh at us…at least to our faces!
I looooove Losiah's little voice….what a cute kid!
Reminiscent of Brody's trim after we hit 500 peeps at one time in the chatroom during RAWRS. Wasn't sure they were going to get er done, but 3 or 4 clippers later….I know you've seen the results. Not bad. And a valiant effort by the Blog Nation faithful to get 500 people at one time in that chat room. What a ride!
Losiah looks so much better! He looks hip and ready for the girls at the pool this summer! Ha.
I still remember when my mom tried to cut my hair when I was in elementary school. I am now certain that all parents should stay away from cutting their child's hair.
I'm impressed. Sportsclips butchered my 2 yr old son's hair, cut his ear, and yelled at him for not sitting still. I tried to explain to the stylist that for a 2 yr old boy, he was actually sitting very still. But you're right, you don't want your kid to be the one in the Sunday School class who is "the kid whose mom cuts his hair." Sometimes, you've just gotta let the pros do what they do best. But he does look pretty cute. A little bit like the hairdoozie that Brad and Angelina's son Maddux used to rock.

He does look pretty dope -
wow…
great story!
I love the way it turned out, but I'm sure y'all were freakin a little.
Okay… THAT was funny… but I gotta tell ya… take that haircut times 8 and you'll know why I cut my kids' hair…
Wow.
As you were reading the instructions on the computer, Losiah looked at the camera like, "I can't believe they are actually going to try this, can you?"
It turned out really well though. Nice doo!

OH honey, you don't even have to be a hair professional to have that feeling…but I have hair mama hair cut trauma of my own.
Great vid, he's such a cutie!
Wow, he was such a trooper through the whole thing! And he really looks stylin'!
he's one adorable kid!
Should have just left it long on top and gone w/the faux hawk.
Brings back the memories of the bowl cut my mother used to do!
No matter what kind of hair cut you give that kid he looks like a baller anyway.
He is probably the coolest looking kid I have ever seen.
awesome.

We could tell you but then we would have to kill you.
(oh, that is a joke btw)
The point is to see how many anonymous people named dude can comment in a day. Today you win.

He's rockin' that new style!
He was. I'm sure.

this was great! Losiah is such a trooper. And so sweet! Does he ever do anything wrong? Ha ha just kidding. He's talking really well too!
I know. He's perfect. Like a little Korean cartoon character.

I love that I can get one word from you and know the exact expression on your face as you type it.

That was my favorite part.
Well, yours are just as!
I've had the clipper mishap myself. Thankfully, there are stylists who don't laugh at us…at least to our faces!

Okay, this was a learning curve for Heather but I think she could do it next time!!!
Too too cute for his own good
every parent loves to clip their child's hair. just ask my mom.
Losiah looks great!

So precious – he is the cutest kids – makes me wanna adopt!!!
So precious – he is the 'cutest kid' – makes me wanna adopt!!! (sorry for the typo)
Turned out okay…but that is one of my fears with our little guy….
