As if we aren't all (by virtue of the fact of 1) not being ancient Greeks and 2) reading the Bible in translation) interpreting it through the lens of culture and upbringing. And the whole debate that leads to most churches treating women like second-class citizens of the Kingdom of God. I have a hard time hiding my bias on that one. The whole inerrancy vs. interpretation issue drives me nuts. As if we aren't all (by virtue of the fact of 1) not being ancient Greeks and 2) reading the Bible in translation) interpreting it through the lens of culture and upbringing.

And the whole debate that leads to most churches treating women like second-class citizens of the Kingdom of God. I have a hard time hiding my bias on that one.
