i remember when i first started leading worship and listened to Matt Redman non stop…his first record and Delirious "Cutting Edge"..i started singing with an accent. The pastor I was working for talked to me after a set one night and said I dont know what is going on but you sound like you want to be from England but your not! Funny moment…but for real…everything seems to sound better with an accent
Is that why nearly all Australians sing with some weird mid-Atlantic accent until they realise that we are the ones who already have the cool accents??
