This Is What Weekends Were Made For

Posted on 01. Jun, 2009 by loswhit in Family

Team Whittaker spent the weekend at Kalein at Round Cove with our good friends Randy and Chris.
The kids gathered eggs in the morning, herbs in the afternoon and chased baby frogs until accidentally stepping on one and screaming in horror.
Heather cooked gourmet meals with freshness from the garden, read like 3 books, and killed at least one fish while trying to remove the hook from it’s mouth.
I wrote a few choruses, gained 2.7 pounds, stared at the clouds and dreamed big dreams, then buckled up while knowing this next season in life will be the most ridiculously awesome yet for Team Whittaker.
