A Ragamuffin Wedding
So Heather turned 31 yesterday.
She married me when she was 22.
Do the math.
Our wedding has been on mini DV tapes sitting in the closet.
Like 5 hours of footage.
So I finally made her a recap.
You probably will only enjoy this if you love us on a scale of 1-10 around a 7.
Otherwise it will bore the crap out of you.

Why did I just watch this? I really feel like a stalker. I only made it through about a minute or two and then I just had to stop.

really really fun to get to watch that. i must love you guys at least a 7 though… cause i wasn't bored. the cake smash was an epic win… and wow… you were definitely hamming it up on the dance floor. i know this was a birthday gift to H but dang… congratulations to you both for what you have. it is a gift to us to see a marriage like yours… praying for continued blessing and protection over it.

This makes me feel a little less bad about my own video. It hasn't been quite a year. At least I captured the tapes. It'd help my case though if I didn't do it for a living.

I was surprised to see you had 2 groomsmen for every bridesmaid, it's usually the other way around! The unity candle fail was hilarious. And I am a big believer in the crowd applauding while the couple kisses at the end of the ceremony to decrease the awkwardness. Complete silence makes me feel like a peeping-tom or something, and I think it adds a lot of pressure to the couple! Anyway, loved being able to share in your day. This was a phenomenal gift to give Heather.
