If you could sit with any ministry hero and ask them any question…
What would you ask and who would it be?

"Name one major point of your core theology on which you genuinely feel you could be wrong."

Personally, I don't trust anyone who says "none".

This is an awesome question. I would love to hear everyone answer this question.

I know I am not a hero of the faith…but I will get the ball rolling
Calvinism—sometimes I think I could be wrong on the elect and predestination

      As always, excellent!

Mr. Chan: "When you pray…even in front of people, I really believe you're talking to God, I can almost hear him listening. Tell me more"

When he prayed at Catalyst, it was the most intimate 11k person prayer ever. I think it changed a little bit about how I pray.

I would sit down with my dad. I would ask him every question I never thought to ask him about faith, church, volunteers, leadership, marriage, God, and anything else that I never thought to ask him. It’s been almost a year now since he passed away, and it’s funny how often I wish I could pick up the phone and call him just to ask him a question. He never led a mega church, but he served God, his family, and the people entrusted to his care the best he knew how and that makes him a ministry hero in my book.

I would ask about both a past failure and a past success that has shaped them into the person that they are now.

    To Rob Bell:

"Can we really do this? Can we undo the damage that has been done to Christianity in America…by Christians?"

    Dear Mr. Nouwen,
I want to feel and have the same passion you have for the Eucharist, Any suggestions?

    Dear Mr. Bonhoeffer,
How did you make the decision to work with others to assassinate Hitler? Do you regret your decision? Do you agree with Redemptive Violence?

    Dear Mr Webb,
you are a small man, but your words pierce like a sword. Can we talk about how you can continue to work with and love others that disagree with you and think you are a heretic?

    wow…
even though he is “fallen” i think there would be value in sitting down with Ted Haggard… i think there may be more, or at least as much, to learn from those that failed than those that are celebrated and elevated to legendary status…
    peace

      oh yeah… the question…

if you could have avoided all recognition and success but deal with your inner turmoil instead, would you have, and how would advise young leaders in avoiding putting success, even in the name of God, above being right with God?

    Dear Dr. Tozer:

You called it as you saw it – but, as screwed up as the church was in your day, could you ever have imagined that things would have gotten this bad? Where are the prophets?

How do you handle all the criticism? The nit picky judgmental people who come into a situation and start telling you how you should be doing things better, think they know better, but have never one day walked in your shoes? How do you handle all the judging from a-far the church does of you? How does that not hurt you? Make you want to run? How do you not always feel the need to defend yourself?

Mother Teresa: Just talk to me about injustice in the world and how you see Christ in you as a redemptive force to change that

Dear Mr. Aquinas: What exactly was it that you saw at the end of your life that made you stop writing and regard all your work as garbage?

    Hey Steven Furtick:

How do ya keep the energy bro?

    Hey Francis Chan:

Crazy Love was the real deal. How do you remain humble after writing it?

    Hey Carlos:

You seem everywhere bro, how do you hustle and find time for the little stuff?

    Leonard Ravenhill
How long did it take you to develop a prayer life that spent 8 hours a day in prayer?

    Dr. W.A. Criswell
After fifty years of pastoring the same church, what would you have done different? What would you have kept the same?

Mr. Chan … what inspires you when the world around you is giving you a tough time? How do you stay strong and lead with such passion? Thanks for what you are doing and how you are leading me, all the way from the other coast.

Matthew Barnett … talk a bit about how you develop the leaders around you. What are some of the greatest things God has done in you that have resulted in changes around you?

Los … what are you doing in your personal time with God right now? What inspires you? Can we have a glimpse of some new music you are penning, singing and such? Last, would you mind coming over for coffee some Saturday night and sticking around for Sunday morning? You rock. Thanks for inspiring me and so many others

Mr. Graham – how did you wrestle with the responsibility of discipleship of all those who came forward during your evangelistic crusades?

My Great Grandad started a church in 1919. He died in the late 60's. Everybody called him "Da" as in Da da. I still listen to grown men who are well along in years refer to him in this way. Whenever anyone talks of him there is affection in their eyes.

I would ask him "How do you transcend being a pastor and move to being earning the right to be called Da by men and women, young and old?"

Honestly though I don't know if I want to know the answer. Would I be willing to do it?
