my cousin, her husband and their 14 year old daughter were killed in a car accident on sunday. their 8 year old daughter is in critical condition and has already been through several surgeries. she has little "chance" of surviving. to my knowledge, none of them were believers. pray that the Lord would comfort the family and do an amazing work! as for me, to be a light!
to see God's will applied in my life and my family's life.
that i'd be a real man, set apart for Christ, and that i'd start loving my beautiful wife like she deserves.
Let's all pray that God WRECKS US FOR HIM…. that FAITH gets so deeply ROOTED and EMBEDDED in our HEARTS that it SHOOTS FORTH IN EVERY DIRECTION AND AREA OF our lives.

That we have safety in our travels from the TX Panhandle to Central WA. Did you have to pray a few months ago that we would move 1700 miles for a job? In the same house for 20 years. I have parted with a lot of material stuff in the past few weeks. It's the emotional. And the complete exhaustion of getting rid of all the stuff. Keep on "hustling". A good friend of my sister's since high school (named Candi) had brain surgery last week to drain / remove multiple cysts, one of which was the size of a softball. She and her family (hubby and 2 sons) were told that the recovery would be very long — she might not even recognize people when she got out of surgery.
The surgery went well, and Candi is healing well, but she still has a long recovery ahead of her. I'd love prayers for her recovery and health, and for her family and friends as they support her in her recovery.
I've just moved to a new country to study. Being in a new place really throws out your routine and habits. That can make it hard to get motivated but i need to be because the academic standard here is high. Please pray that I'd be motivated and get all the study done well despite the unsettledness. This is gonna sound really silly, but also pray that i would be able to remember the names of the people i am meeting. I'm meeting so many new people and remembering names is important in starting to build new relationships but i am so bad at remembering them!
We have financial needs & I am a stay at home mom considering going back to work, but have no one to keep our kids when school is out. Need direction from God.
Hubby & I both feel God is calling us somewhere and we've no idea where we're supposed to go. Pray that we trust and have faith.

My husband and I are struggling financially because I lost my job, then this month I lost my unemployment because the temp agency I worked at for a month lied about why they let me go. I have been desperately searching for a job, while trying to make time to also finish a line of study that would give me an actual career. We need prayer that we would put our trust in the Lord, and also in making it financially.
Pray for me to have the courage to actually do something about all the amazing raw material God has given me. The first step, for me, is the worst.
I want to write intentionally and in a way that pulls life out of me.
I want to serve in the places that I've avoided for so long.
I want to be courageous and radical and love people in ridiculous ways.
But it's terrifying and paralyzing and really, really hard. Your prayers would be most appreciated.

I have a meeting tonight with my minister and church treasurer, together, we're taking steps towards me cutting down working full time and taking up a day and a half a week to lead the creative/arts/worship ministries at our church. I'm excited about this…been doing it for 7 years in my spare (?!) time, and I want everybody else to be excited and inspired too.

I am on staff at a small church that thinks it’s big! Our environments are fantastic (thank you NP and DRIVE) and our volunteers are gold. But, there are only 26 of them and they are getting overused. We are having a “strategic service” Sunday and we’re going to shock everyone with NO VOLUNTEERS so that they’ll see just how much gets done by these folks. We are praying that others will step up this Sunday–we know THEY will get so much from serving. I’d love it if you’d pray with us, too.

We need strength and guidance… and a miracle. In 6 weeks I stop being a (sort of) missionary in Ukraine and return to CO. I have no job, no insurance, no marketable skills and a pregnant wife due in February. In retrospect maybe I could have thought this one through a bit better….
hey i just got a call last week from a friend who wants me to consider coming on staff at his church. this would mean leaving a place i LOVE and have no reason to leave but want to give this the consideration due. you never know when God looks/sounds like your buddy tim

I’ve recently been separated from a church that I worked in for the past two years. I held several responsibilities in this small church, although none were a paid staff position (since no one there was on paid staff, not unusual). I was a worship leader, media team director, a youth leader and regularly taught bible studies.
Basically, I was fired. There were no moral failures or improprieties committed on my part (although I was falsely accused of such). The pastor went to the entire leadership of the church with a story that was completely false – this, before he ever came to me with it. (Which is not the biblical way to handle such, in my understanding).
Even after the truth was brought forward, a difference of opinion still remained, and that was still enough for me to dismissed. No effort that I can tell was made to set the facts straight, and a number of extremely hurtful things were said about me, and my family in the process.
All this happened not long after a band that I co-founded and played with for nearly five years broke up (although it was amicable, it was a huge disappointment for me).
All my work and effort for this church (which was a lot) was all I had left after losing the band. I have been in ministry in some form or fashion regularly for the past 12 years. Now, I simply feel lost.
A lot of relationships have been damaged or lost in this process. My immediate and extended family have been hurt by what has happened. And I and not sure what to do with myself.
I have chosen to forgive all who were involved, but I still feel the sting of what was done and said. My relationship with God has not suffered, but my trust in others has been deeply damaged.
I really need to be able to move on and find my place in ministry again, but I don’t know what to do. All of your prayers are coveted and appreciated.

well, i quit my job…so now that i have made that hard decision i am looking for a job. I have never done this before.

I have gone through the very same treatments your father is going through. I will certainly pray for him as the treatments are not easy by any means. I realized that through my experience that God was drawing me closer to himself despite the difficult time.

I just started school, so pray that God gives me the wisdom & knowledge to retain the information & excel in my studies. I also need to find a job soon, because my finances are at the end of themselves. Pray that I would find a new apartment before the year's end so I can be closer to school. Pray that the Lord would just lead me and guide me and that I would allow him to over this next season of life.
Please pray for strength for me as I continue to wait on God. For a peace that HE really does hear my cries. And that I will not hesitate has he continues to lead and guide me into new adventures in this thing called life.
I have also just taken on the leadership role in my small group. This will be my first time doing something such as this. Just pray for that and that our group will grow, dig deep, and fall even more in love with our King.

please pray that the migraines that have been plaguing me the past month will just go away. This happened last Summer too (had 1 for 5 solid weeks) and it just gets debilitating. I’m also trying to find a job (as are so many) so we can keep out bills paid. I’m sure that some of the headaches are from stress, and I’m really trying to just let God handle it… some days are better than others in that regard

I want to care again. I want my sin to wreck me. I'm entrenched in a secret life (I do have a great group of guys who know and we talk about it), but it's not getting better any more. I need some motivation to keep striving towards purity and only using my sexual energy with my wife.
I hate it. I want to hate it more. I want what Jesus did on the cross to be constantly on my mind as a reminder to stop and keep away from the crap.
Thank you for the offer! Joey Daniel Robichaud could def. use tons of prayers. He is my nephew, born last thursday 15 weeks early. Miraculously (by God alone) when he was born, he started crying, kicking and breathing all on his own. He has not been ventilated. He is soo small, 1lb 12oz (give or take a few now), and is having apneas, where he forgets to breath. He has been coming out of them for the most part all on his own. He has a long road ahead, which will include staying in the hospital probably until november. Your prayers, and those of anyone else you choose to share this with are deeply appreciated.

Pray that I would find a job. I resigned from my position at a church 6 months ago and am praying to find another church that I can serve in. While this time has been a tremendous growing and faith testing period, I pray that God would begin to open some doors to the community that He has in mind for me to share my gifts and leadership with.
I am sure you have seen the tweets from @brianwurzell and company about the ever-increasing prayer requests for the staff at Cornerstone in Chandler AZ.
Continue to pray for Kate McRae, though she is home, she is still sick. Pray for a miracle. Pray that her kidneys continue to be strong and healthy through the Chemo. Pray for Aaron and Holly, that they would feel peace that surpasses all understanding.
Pray for Lisa and Sharon. Their mother was just diagnosed with brain cancer. Their father also had a heart attack today.
Pray for Ryan and his wife Danielle. They lost their baby yesterday, at 5 months pregnant, and had to go in today to deliver.
Pray for Eddie’s mom who is not well mentally and emotionally.

Thanks for the prayers, Los. I could use some prayers of discernment. I feel called to become more involved in creating and leading worship, or even working for a church. I am praying to be sure that what I hear is God's voice and not mine. And, if it is His will, that He will guide me to where He can use the talents He provided me to His glory. BTW, we are praying for your ministries too!

Please pray for my mother, Christine. She has some kind of blockage in her abdominal area. She went for a CT scan last week. The results came back today, but the "report" did not, so at this point we don't know if it is cancer or not. Either way, she will have to have surgery. My father (Joe) was struck ill about 15 years ago with a virus that left him with some brain damage and physical paralysis that has him in a wheelchair. He will have to go into an assisted living facility during the time my Mom has surgery and is recuperating.
So pray for Christine and Joe.

My hearing is today for my foreclosure. I am letting a family stay in the house basically rent free because they are temporarily without housing. I need favor and faith today to believe God for His highest and best. I'd also like to ask for a 60 day extension so that this family can find somewhere to live.

For my husband's interview today. He has been without a job for a year now.
I have two good friends that have had mental breakdowns this week and have turned to me. I need God's love and wisdom to help them both. One has suicidal tendancies the other refused to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. They both are Christian women in their 50's.
we recently adopted from korea and we are working through some frustrations in the transition.
Clarity for the future. I’m about to start a class that will teach me how write a business plan and how to execute that plan. If this is what God wants for me I want to be able to understand what I’m about to learn. Also to give me a great idea as well:)
This Sunday, our church starts double services for the first time. It’s going to be awesome. We’ve done a ton of work. Our people are excited. And we are just a leeeetle bit nervous.
So… yeah… we need a lot of prayer.
We are adopting from Rwanda. In the last few months of waiting. Pray that we have patience for God’s timing, but that it will be expedient so we can get our child home.
Leaving my job at church and leaving this particular church as a family. Devastating, but right. Pray for a new job for me to open up and for God to simply land us in the right new place.
