Wow! That is a killer post. It kills your desire to fall into these mistakes.

I just had a talk to my dad the other day and he told me:

But remember, what ever you do with your life, wherever you go, no matter what or where or when, you may think your life is under your control and so is not. Your life is in Gods hands, even if you fall apart, he will be there when you come back, when you want to come back and you can´t He will go for you.

I think, leaving everything in God´s hands is not as the servant did with his lord. We are called friend, and we are called son. We are to obey and listen, always knowing that we could choose different, but deciding not to. We are to follow Him as when we follow a friend´s advice, as when we follow our parents orders, with gratitute and love, trusting that He wants the best for us, no matter we can´t understand it in that moment. The son of a king, obeys and follows, knowing that he is listening to a king, but in his heart, he is seeing his father, listening to his father and the way he accomplishes the command, the feeling in his heart is different.

It is such a relief to be able to turn it all over to Him and let Him control it. No situation catches God off guard. It's all about trusting Him to do what is best for me, and He will because He loves, loves, loves me.
