Sitting on the beach with my wife listening to the waves crash.
Nothing is more realizing or peaceful for me and I don't share it with anyone but her.
thanks for the reminder.

1. Listening to my two boys singing together in the back seat of the car.

2. The glow on my wife's face when I know that she is looking at me through eyes of deep love

3. Serving others

4. Staring at my hand watching my fingers slowly move. It amazes to think of everything that as to happen in the human body to make such a basic movement. Only God could make something so wonderful.

1. driving at night with the windows down and my best friend by my side
2. hearing my little cousins yell my name as they come running toward me to give me a hug
3. seeing someone finally get it...that God loves them and wants to help them get through their pain

1. Stars - I love driving in my parents yard (they live almost in the middle of nowhere) late at night and staring up at the sky all lit up with stars that seem to go on forever. Or even better, lying on the deck at camp, cuddled up with your two best friends at 3 am watching the sky light up with a meteor shower and being honest about yourself.
2. Bonfires – while I love bonfires in general, sitting around one at camp leading worship is something that can’t really be described.
3. Home – not even the place so much as the people. I don’t think I realized how much I loved it until I moved away for grad school, and I’m literally counting down the days until I head home at Christmas and get a hug from my mom and my best friend.

1. sitting on the beach with my best friend in Seattle watching the sunset behind the mountains across the sound with a cool breeze blowing

2. Showing someone Jesus' love by making their day

3. Bonfires on crisp cool nights with a comfy sweatshirt and perfectly toasted s'mores

4. Great music, open sunroof, and the open road

My 3 yr old's belly-laugh.
My 3 month old's smile.
Regina by my side - sitting on warm white sand with the Caribbean at our feet.

And Van Halen - Dreams. Takes me back to Jr. High - no cares, skateboard under my feet, didn't care what anybody thought about anything.
