By far, my favorite costume for my kids is my son’s costume for this year: He got it for his birthday (Sept): Sam as WallE. I made it from a cardboard box and his white balloon is Eve. I was so excited at how it turned out.

We dressed our fam in Star Wars 3 years ago (I was Darth Vader, my wife was Queen Amidala, and our daughter was Leia – the exact costume in the pic).

I’m gonna have to go with my long time dream that I fulfilled last Halloween of being catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer not Halle Berry)…home-made vinyl suit and all…husband wore a tux and was my Bruce Wayne. It was awesome and shocked the heck out of the people who know me!

I won the school wide contest in 4th grade for my McDonald’s French Fry goblin costume. Anyone remember those? They went around with the Hamburglar? Made it from chicken wire, crepe paper, and legg’s eggs for eyes.

One year, I made a clown costume for my best friend’s kid out of Goodwill finds. I sewed green yarn hair around the edges of a black felt ladies hat and painted different colored circles on an oversized demin outfit. Total cost less than 10 bucks, paint and all. At least four different children wore that costume over several years. It rocked!
