I don’t know if this one has made it into many churches yet – at least none I’ve experienced, but “New Creation” by Dex Alexander that you clued me into a year or so ago
Wow, that’s a tough one. There’s “All of the Way My Savior Leads Me” or “Be Thou My Vision” or “Joyful, Joyful” or “I Cannot Tell Why He Whom Angels Worship”.
If pressed, I’d probably choose “Be Thou My Vision,” only partly because I’m near-legally blind.
Love amazing grace (esp the verse…when we’ve been here ten thousand years….) but also am a huge fan of Blessed Assurance…old school but comforts me and lifts me at the same time.
If I could have just one song it would be Beautiful Lord – Leeland. And that’s all I need. Beautiful Lord and Song of Hope (Robbie Seay Band). And that’s all I need. Just Beautiful Lord, Song of Hope and My Savior My God (aaron shust). That’s it. That’s all I need just Beautiful Lord, Song of Hope My Savior My God – that’s all I need. And Only You (DC*B). That’s all I need. Picking just one song is hard… like asking for only one good Steve Martin Movie.
When it’s done right, not sure there is a more powerful song than “Revelation Song” – just imagining being at the throne of the Creator with the Angels singing “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. Who was and is and is to come”. Catalyst Conference could have been over at that point (the second song) and I would have been OK with that! WOW!
I am also digging “Arms Open Wide” by Hillsong United, but if I have to pick just one, it’s Revelation Song.
After last night’s U2 concert on Youtube. I will go with “Magnificent” but “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” Into “Open the eyes” rocks as well. What about “Where the Streets Have No Name”. Argh Seriously Los only one?
one is too hard… How He Loves, Salvation Is Here, Lead Me To The Cross, or Living For You… or a good arrangement of How Great Thou Art. hm, I guess I didn’t answer the question very well.
I love the song Hosannah! The verse, “I see a generation rising up to take their place” is so powerful and I’m reminded why I do what I do.
I wrote a short blurb about the power of that song a while ago http://www.thelement.com/davidmiller/?p=500
Oh, come on….Of course it would have to be ANYTHING by a dynamic artist, anointed by God…have you heard of him? His name is Carlos Whittaker. Second choice? He Reigns.
Shout unto God – with Sandals Church worship band-led by Carlos Whittaker. Can’t get better worship than that mix and those two verses! hmmm, good memories.
How He Loves – the sloppy wet kiss version.

Yahweh or You Are Here (The Same Power) by Hillsong.
right now? i think “I Have Found” by Kim Walker.
Love Came Down – Ben Cantelon
It would be very cliche to save Jesus Saves, so I wont (haven’t heard it enough yet)
-Oh the Glory of it all-DCB
One of the best songs ever written. Summarizes Creatio Fall Redemption beautifully.
probably Near the Cross, by Frances J. Crosby…
in the Cross

rest beyond the river
Glorious One – fee
Beautiful the Blood by Fee

The Stand by United.

It would be to join with the angels round the throne singing “Holy holy holy, Lord God almighty, who was and is and is to come.
“Revelation song”
toss up between “carried to the table” by leeland or “how he loves” dcb style
Before the throne of God above
i’d go with ‘Amazing Grace (My chains are gone)’… Sang it yesterday @ church. Such a powerful song.
I’ll go old school:
Shout to the Lord
We actually sang this yesterday, and it rocked as usual.
I know some others have already said it, but Fee’s “Everything Falls.”
Amazing Grace definitely!
Next Sunday is All Saints’ Day, so “For All the Saints,” for sure.
Since I’m the worsihp leader for our church, I already know…I’m most stoked about “Song of Hope” by Robbie Seay Band and “Free” the Newsboys version
Picking just one song is hard… like asking for only one good Steve Martin Movie.

to give it away to you, jesus.”
Either “Hosanna” or “Offering” by Paul Baloche.
Come Thou Fount.
Healer a close second.
Holy, Holy, Holy a very close third.
True Love – Phil Wickham
Easily the best worship song released this year:
Led to the Slaughter by Red Letter
I’d want to sing something that told the gospel story. If we sang just about any song about Christ’s death & resurrection – I’d be good.
“How Great Thou Art” or “In Christ Alone” are favorites.
Hillsong – Shout unto God
Mighty to Save.
Dance With Me – Jesus Culture version
With Everything – Hillsong
Saviour King — Hillsong United
In Christ Alone // In 4/4 with some triplets and a nice piano line.
“How Great Is Our God” with “We Shine” coming in as a close second.
“I Wish We’d All Been Ready” by Larry Norman
Jesus Is (brazilian version) – Hillsong London
Steven Curtis Chapman’s “The Great Adventure”
Beautiful, Scandalous Night
Blessed Assurance would be the song for today.
“This is My Story this is My Song. Praising my Savior all the day long.”
That captures everything.
Today, it would be It Is Well – the Northpoint Music arrangement

Grateful, Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir

Tear Down the Walls- Hillsong United
After last night’s U2 concert on Youtube. I will go with “Magnificent” but “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” Into “Open the eyes” rocks as well. What about “Where the Streets Have No Name”. Argh Seriously Los only one?
one is too hard… How He Loves, Salvation Is Here, Lead Me To The Cross, or Living For You… or a good arrangement of How Great Thou Art. hm, I guess I didn’t answer the question very well.
How Great Is Our God/How Greath Thou Art
I love the song Hosannah! The verse, “I see a generation rising up to take their place” is so powerful and I’m reminded why I do what I do.
I wrote a short blurb about the power of that song a while ago http://www.thelement.com/davidmiller/?p=500
either God of This City or Tear Down The Walls
Your Love Never Fails – Jesus Culture.
That would be a tough choice between You Hold Me Now and You Are Here (The Same Power) by Hillsong.
Right now…probably Exalted (Yahweh).
Oh, come on….Of course it would have to be ANYTHING by a dynamic artist, anointed by God…have you heard of him? His name is Carlos Whittaker. Second choice? He Reigns.
Abba Father by Klaus.
We Shine
Fee (but, Arr. Central Worship/DrewBodine)
Shout unto God – with Sandals Church worship band-led by Carlos Whittaker. Can’t get better worship than that mix and those two verses! hmmm, good memories.
Ditto on “Healer” – I am introducing this one in November.
Probably anything Kim Walker right now.
“There is a Rock” by Tommy Walker
“Glorious One” by Steve Fee
Definitely “Be Thou My Vision”! How Great Is Our God is a close second though…
