I can’t make it to Catalyst, but hit Cat West this year – my first Catalyst experience. Wow – I came away refreshed with great soul food and much hope in what God is doing in the local church nowdays. Its an exciting time to be a pastor. Somehow I seem to go to conferences like Catalyst forgetting just how huge the Kingdom is. I always come away feeling appropriately small and I’m grateful for that

I just want to go to be inspired and get the Tools that I need to be Used by God and Become All He wants me to be! I have really been thinking about this… I have Felt Strangely Drawn By the Strong Desire to Attend this Conference, and I have really been wondering why, Because I am Not a Pastor, and Though i have Been in Leadership (lay) Positions @ my church. I have never been on Staff @ a Church. although i have somewhat of an idea of what it is that i am called to be.. I do know its huge and its been a long time in Preparing, so I want to be equiped as possible.

I think i would feel like I have really done a great thing for God’s Kingdom if I could just say one thing, one time that causes someone to come to Christ. I don’t need to be famous. Just used by God.

i don’t think everyone who calls themselves a christian is meant to be a star.
99% of us are called to be just be normal. to be faithful where we are, to be honest and kind and generous. to love God with all our hearts, souls and mind. and occasionally throw our nets on the other side of the boat. i don’t think the christian community lacks dreamers, i think we lack faithfulness.
do they talk about that at catalyst?

I am coming. 1st time to Catalyst.
Realized I need to learn about church leadership even though I am not a "pastor".
Getting sort of nervous about it all.
Still remain excited about what Jesus is going to teach me.
Hoping to get to meet you and give you TN style hug.

I pray the Lord prepares all of us for what awaits in the following days.

I am now. A friend of a friend was not able to make it and now I am able to go to the conference that opened my eyes to new opps last year. I am expecting God to really move in my life through this conference. I look forward to what will happen to everyone that attends. This is where ideas are dreamed, it is also where ideas are realized.
