Yes guys. Thanks for the comments.

    And they grow SO FAST!!!!

Bro, that video is so legit. I pray that my fiancée and I have an opportunity to be amazing, loving parents one day too. Thanks for putting out there your successes and failures…

My boys are already in bed asleep but I am going to kiss them right now. Thanks for sharing Los!

Wow. Thanks for that. I needed that tonight – my almost 2 yr old took of his dirty diaper 3 times today “all by myself”.

The whole point of being mommy and daddy is to leave your world and join theirs, because you love them, you care about them, you want to know what hurts and what makes them smile.

Makes me grateful my Papa in Heaven did and does the same for me.

thanks for that video. when I sing night-night songs to my guys I hold them and remember that it is such a miracle that God created them and now they talk and laugh and hug me and then sometimes it’s just so powerful I end up losing it. good stuff. blessings to you and yours…

Andy Stanley says that when it comes to our kids, there is cumulative value in routinely investing a small amount of time over a long period. That’s just a fancy way of saying that that it’s the thousand little moments that matter, not the few big ones.

    Stellar work man.

That video made me put my kids to bed a little slower and a lot more intentional tonight! Thanks

Come on man… I haven’t even hardly woken up yet and I’m crying in front of my computer screen at 7:18AM.

    Thanks for the reminder.

After the night I had last night I needed to see that. I think I might just watch that every morning for a couple days just to be reminded. Thanks for sharing.

there was a comment made last night that devalued all that i do as a full-time momma. this, my friend, was a soothing balm that showed me the value of it. thank you. so much.

Dude, you make me want to be a better dad to my two girls. That video is awesome. Thanks for being such an amazing example of what a dad can and should be.

Man, nothing like sitting here in my cube at the office trying to keep from blubbering. Great video. Thanks for reminding us all to think about what truly is important in each of our lives and to slow down and take the time to appreciate it.

So lovely and thought-provoking. Hope you don’t mind…I’m posting the link to this to my FB page so some of my friends who are young parents will be inspired.

Ah so sweet. I thought I was going to cry for a moment there but I managed to keep it together. But I could not agree more-I hope that too- just to show Nolan a glimpse of God’s love through my own.

crap. you just made me cry and i think you made me miss my dad for the first time in a while. a year and a half since he died. its definitely the little moments that make a difference and I LOVE how much you love your kids, keep it up. tear. dangit. <3

  21. stephanie 22 October 2009 at 12:17 pm #

Love that video. Tears! I know that it is stressful to be all by yourself with kids sometimes but the good times outweigh those stressful moments! And you always seem like you have so much fun with your kids. I am sure they will always know that you love them.

BTW: I go to Elevation and heard that you are going to come and see us sometime soon. Can’t wait! Hope I get to meet you. (And I think you should bring Heather with you. Love her!)

  22. Lex 22 October 2009 at 12:26 pm #

You made me cry and I’m 18 years old and in college. No kiddos yet for this girl, but wow. thanks for your honesty. Your girls are luck to have you and Heather.

We have a 2 yr old son, and that video was exactly what I’ve thought so many times. I find myself waiting for him to get “a little bit older” so I can do things like play catch or throw him around the yard, but that time is here NOW.

    Great thoughts.
