I lay my mac down in C-TOWN! Charlotte, Nc. I free from the cares of Richmond, the designed life I have, and now able to be whoever I want to be, which is me.
I feel like because of that freedom of being a no-name there I am what I am – and comfortable with that.
I lay my mac down in MOORESVILLE, INDIANA! I have family here (church & relatives), I feel like I am the most “me” here, and I love the people and places that make it up! Simply put: it fits.
I wish I could say where I am is where I am most comfortable. But honestly when I can I lay my mac down on the Big Island of Hawaii. It feels like home. Like where I truly belong. I’m not restless but at peace. Worship is intense there for me.
In Piketon, Ohio! We moved here due to our jobs. We have no family here. We have an amazing church. I think the church is really the only thing keeping us here.
My Mac rests comfortably in Portland, OR. Although it has also rested comfortably any time and any where we have listened and responded to God’s calling. Some of our favorite spots as of late have been…
Canon Beach, OR
Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic
Zulu Natal, South Africa
I lay my mac down in 3 different places:
Albuquerque, NM (the state side homeland)
Barcelona, Spain (where my family is from)
and Paris, France (it’s my adopted home, spent too much time there for school)
yeah, not gonna lie. i read that and was like… well, its right there on my desk… like usual.
but i guess thats not what you meant, so my other mac lays down anywhere in the comfy old midwest. the states of seasons, responsibilities, and warm hearts. oh and corn and cheese. essential to macage.
I “lay my mac down” in the capital city of Australia, Canberra preferably at home with my wife and daughter… BTW I’ve never heard that phrase before “lay my mac down” must be one of the few Americanisms not to make its way into our culture (or I’m just getting old and I missed it )
hmmm…. any beach on Lake Michigan from South Haven to the Leelanau Peninsula is where I “lay my mac down” but my fave would have to be the closest one to me, Kirk Park, which is half way between Grand Haven and Holland.
I lay my mac down at my favorite Starbucks on the corner of Peachtree Street and 7th Street in Midtown Atlanta, GA. This is where I can pull out my Macbook Pro, my Moleskine, and my Pilot G-2 Pen, and go to work.
For some reason, I get in the zone here within minutes. This is where I seem to be most productive creatively. I also am able to blog, design, and even hold meetings with clients in this environment. But it has to be at this particular Starbucks though. lol. I call this “Crush It City”.
I lay my mac down, where my wife and kids are. I enjoy a lot of different places, (currently in Dtown Pa, north of Philly) but the most important part of the day is when I come home, take the shoes off, shut the door, and leave the concerns of the church day right there at the door. That’s it for me…
UNBELIEVABLE! I love when God brings the unexpected to remind us, to center us and to give us a gift like Danny. I sat here with my wife and mom watching this video with wet eyes. Thankful for the Danny’s of the world today.
I’m praying that God would open my eyes to see and love the Danny’s of the world. I’m glad you ran in to this rad dude and holy crap…dude had some deep words in his rhymin’! Stoked to see how the footage makes it on the EPK!
Keep pursuing all that’s in front of you Los. It’s fun to be a part of your life and to watch God put His hand on your ministry. I’m thankful for ya bro!
My mac sits comfortably on my desk or on my lap. haha… no but really. I love me some Illinois.

“We love it!”

My macs reside in AZ, but my mac loves to “go far far away in the van, stay in the hotel, and jump on the bed” as my son says.
