pesto linguini with chicken at maggianos.
i’d eat at DAIKOKUYA! coz their ramen is heart attack in a bowl. LOL
Cheesecake Factory. Chicken & Biscuits with Smashed Potatoes & Gravy. Dessert to be determined at time of meal.
Or my house for Pastiste (Greek lasagna). Made by my master chef (self-taught) husband….And my Choc cheesecake.
Mickey Mantel’s in Bricktown (Oklahoma City)… steak and potato baby. (It’s where I proposed to wife)
The Stockyard in Nashville, TN
Appetizer: Marinated portabello mushrooms
Dinner: Filet Minion w/ baked potato
Dessert: Something decadent and chocolate.
And maybe, just maybe, Macallan scotch on the rocks.
Peter Luger’s steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY. This is the place to go for steak. Forget ambience, forget decor, forget style. It has none of that. What it does have is the best porterhouse steak you’ll ever eat.
plantano muduro con queso – Papa ningo’s Richmond,Va
My mom’s stuffed artichokes with a side of breaded eggplant and pasta with artichoke sauce. Dessert? Ice cream.
Most definitely Ruth’s Chris’ Steakhouse. I’d have the Filet Minon, the garlic mashed potatoes, and that would be enough. This steak is nothing like I’ve ever tasted. Oh no. I think I have to go eat some now.
Def. The Penguin in Charlotte NC. Full-Blown Hemi with fried pickles!
Pecan Chocolate Pie (heated) with icecream at Cafe Intermezzo……gahhhhhmmmmmmmmm
Hmmm…
Red Lobster…lots and lots of lobster and crab…my favorite!
But it would HAVE to be with friends and family! Or it just wouldn’t be worth it.
I’d probably have to find a taco stand on the side of the road and get some carnitas…with cilantro, a little pico de gallo, and lime. I’d wash that down with horchata and finish it off with a paleta de coco…or maybe fresa. Then just stick a piece of caramel in my mouth and I’m ready to go.
Or fish tacos at Aw Shucks in Dallas: http://awshucksdallas.com/
Now I am hungry for some carnita tacos!
A home cooked meal by my mom and dad at their house. =)
That’s it right there
A dozen Gaggas @ Olneyville System Wieners on Reservoir Ave in Cranston, RI followed by an Awful, Awful @ Newport Creamery down the street.
Fogo de Chao, brazilian BBQ. Only one type of meal there, all you can eat beef. Simply stunning
Easy..Tessaros in the Bloomfield section of
Pittsburgh. Best burgers in the world.
SKYLINE CHILI!!!!!! I’d have a small 3-way, 2 Cheese Coney’s plain, an order of fries, and a Pop.
I refuse to answer this question. As a fat girl, it would be sacrilege to choose just one. I don’t know which restaurant it would be…but it would definitely be some sort of sushi. Mmmmmmmm
I think I would have to say Chick fil-a. We only get to eat there about once a year b/c there aren’t any near us. We have to travel at least 2 hours to get to one.
As a Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A I was hoping someone was going to post that. Awesome!
I agree, Jennifer! We have to drive a good 2 1/2 hours to get to one too!
There’s one in the food court of a college here, but it’s waaaaay on the other side of town! And it’s just not the same! We need a REAL Chick-fil-A in Wichita!
Man, a deluxe chicken sandwich with waffle fries and a peppermint shake sounds AMAZING right now! Or nuggets with fries… dang. Now I need to go to Kansas City!
The girls at Chick-fil-A are MOO-E-BUENO!
Lobster shack in the middle of 7 mile beach, Negril, Jamaica. I’d be eating Lobster the dude caught for me while I reveled in God’s beautiful white sand and turquoise water.
Chimichanga at this whole in the wall Mexican dive in Lebanon, MO…best freaking chimi in the WORLD!!
Dino’s Pizza for sure.
Without a doubt I would go back to Albergo Ristorante Ca’ Cerfogli in Emiglia Romagna region of Italy. There’s no menu. You eat whatever they are having that night. Family style. The mushroom torteloni there was the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. Hand made pasta that was paper thin and melt in your mouth stuffed with house made ricotta cheese in a light butter sauce with porcini mushrooms, scavenged in the surrounding woods. It was heaven.
http://www.albergocerfogli.it/flash/stage.html
Arby’s
Giant roast beef, Large curly fries and a Mountain Dew.
Yummy in South Beach. Best Asian inspired restaurant ever. Way better than PF Changs.
YES!!! Oh Yummy, how I miss thee!!!
I’d have a few slices of pizza and a pepperoni roll at Manny’s House of Pizza, downtown Nashville.
Does my grandmother’s kitchen count?
Oh, and her seafood gumbo.
Clearman’s North Woods Inn in San Gabriel, Ca (though the Covina location would work too) for Salads and cheese bread, Filet Minon, the most amazing rice pilaf on the planet and a giant baked potato with cheese butter….then the rum fudge sundae for dessert!!! Oh gosh I just gained like 15 lbs thinking about it but hey, if it’s my last meal it’s not gonna have time to make me fatter huh?!
oh my. it’s 9:20 p.m. and the hubs just went out to get dinner…NOT good time to check my reader! These comments are killin’ me!
It would HAVE to be peruvian food…loma saltado, arroz con pollo…oh man…anything on the menu at this point!
I would make homemade grilled chicken salad, then finish it off with homemade mixed berry scones, drizzled with white chocolate, paired with some kona coffee
A great Brazilian BBQ and chocolat pizza w/ ice-cream as dessert at AlphaPoint Restaurant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. yummmm
Easy- a pulled pork sandwich from most BBQ joints North Carolina. One of the few things I really miss while in AZ. They just don’t get it right here.
A cheeseburger and side salad from the Horse Brass Pub with a pint or two of Old Rasputin. Probably close to 2000 calories but who cares?! Nothing compares to it.
I would have a steak dinner, at Patio Restaurant, in Havana, Cuba
Last night on Earth? I aint spending it @ a restaurant that’s for sure..I’d be @ home with a massive plate of my wife’s chow-mein…awesome stuff!
thats what I was thinking…different food but home definately.
Not at restaurant, but Aqua Terra Bistro in Buford, GA would be the caterer… around a HUGE table with all of my friends. Liberty School Cabernet and tapas (every item on the Aqua Terra menu) to share and pass around.
Dong’s China Buffet in Mooresville, IN. Best General Tso’s chicken I’ve ever tasted.
tamales from a hole in the wall near my grandmother’s house… La Cocina de Ana. Not sure if it’s in Ceritos or Artesia, CA. My mouth is watering right now.
Red Robin for a whiskey burger…yummm!
Porterhouse at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – with jumbo shrimp for an appetizer – a cobb salad – brussel spouts – and creme brulee for dessert.
A Big Mac Meal from McDonald’s…I’m a cheap date…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEkZHqbrEEE&feature=related in North Tampa.
Awesome everything!
Home cooked meal. My wife’s beef stroganoff.
Tough call. Last night so who cares if I get shot. Parachute into Cuba. Vaca Frita w/ Black Beans, rice and plantains somewhere in Havana.
Chipotle. Burrito (I’d survey the meats to find the best choice).
no restaurant… my mom’s mac&cheese or chicken & dressing
Cook-Out!! Best Burger joint in NC!
Would have to be Kumas Corner on Belmont in Chicago…best burgers EVER!!..they make their own ketchup even, pretzel roll buns..and bourbon ON TAP!! It is a “biker” bar..best in the summer when the patio is open..because the wait is shorter:)…you have to check it out when you land in Chicago…and let us know what you think..hope to see ya there..
Fogo de Chao – but they’d also be serving me bacon. That amount of meat might kill me early in spite of your scenario!
This is like asking which kid do you love the most…impossible question….
I have no idea about the actual restaurant, but it would be in Italy-spaghetti and meatballs, Dr.Pepper(what? It’s a grown up drink!), and chocolate cake. Appetizer of summer tomatoes, mozz cheese and fresh basil and olive oil. Crusty bread. Man, I am hungry…
34 South and i like the skewered tuna
fish tacos. chuy’s. houston, tx.
Alinea in Chicago.
Beef brisket plate at Angelo’s in Fort Worth, Texas with all the trimmings – potato salad, beans etc.. or
Joe Garcia’s (in Fort Worth as well) for some serious Mexican food!!
Yikes, I need a trip to Texas soon!!!
Blessings!!
Lambert’s in Sikeston, MO
Smoked pork chops, fried apples, loaded baked potato, hashbrown casserole and those thrown rolls w/ honey….and a big bucket of sweet tea to wash it down with.
LOVE Lambert’s. Plus, if you are “still hungry” (yeah, right)… they’ll bring you more of anything you ordered.
Plato Gordo at Uncle Julios. yea verily, amen
Won’t be at a restaurant on my LAST night on earth but at home with friends with a huge plate of arroz blanco, habichuelas, pollo empanizado y tostones with mayuketchup. boricua style baby!
Cheesecake Factory:
A glass or two of Pinot Noir
Chicken Madeira
Kahlua Cheesecake
I’d go local and stay home with my family and just eat whatever was in the fridge. With family close by on my last day on earth any food would be memorable, even ramen noddles.
I’m surprised only one person so far has said sushi. We’ve got this great sushi place in Brandon called Tokyo Zone, their Grand Canyon and Deep fried California rolls are amazing!
I think its because when you think of what you want your last meal on earth to be, it becomes nostalgic–like something from childhood. I’m sure a few grew up with great sushi, but I land locked gal like myself didn’t taste decent sushi until 5 years ago! At least that’s one theory.
Monte Cristo sandwich at Bennigan’s. So bad for me, but tastes so good.
Melissa’s (My Wife) Brisket Tacos:D
Then Peanut Butter (Jif Crunchy) and Syrup (Ms. Buttersworth) on a spoon!
I guess if that isn’t Heaven enough… I’d leave Earth

Cheese Enchilada Suiza.
Ask for Gustavo.
Keep the Margarita’s coming.
And let us know if you ever go, once you get to Chicago! We’re right around the corner!
The hugest sandwich and pile of greasy fries from Arthur Bryant’s BBQ in Kansas City.
or a full sample platter from Jack Stack also in KC. I’d eat the whole thing.
At home with Aaron and our closest friends. It might look something like whole roasted chicken, with roasted veggies, potatoes gratin, a good salad, and maybe a chocolate tart for dessert…or maybe chocolate mousse…or lemon meringe pie (obviously we should have all three!) And all with a good glass of wine.
Animal style cheese burger with a whole grill protein style… with you by my side stealing my fries.
@libertymarket – Gilbert, AZ
italia pressed sandwich w/ pasta salad and a big freakin beer. then a slice of red velvet cake w/ an americano.
now i’m ready to die. i hope there’s one in heaven.
A burger at the Winking Lizard in Cleveland Heights, OH, w/ fries, side of mashed potatoes and a beer.
If I could be sure I would die soon after, I think I would feast on seafood. It tastes sooo good, but about 6 hours after I eat it I am always violently ill for 24 hours–so I haven’t intentionally had any for years.
would grandma’s house count? served up shake n’ bake pork chops. homemade onion rings. mashed potatoes. green beans. grape jello. sweet tea. eclair cake for dessert. along with just my closest family and friends for company.
