Logos is such a great product. Such a huge resource for teaching Gods word!!
Would love to use this to study on the go and to use in small group prep. Plus I’ve never owned an ipod of any sort because I’m busy trying to pay off school debt before making any “unnecessary purchases”. This app looks great!

You know, this would be a beautiful aid in my current Bible study. I recently started listening to this program called Thru The Bible Radio and I am absolutely loving it. The only issue is that I am constantly on the go and do not always remember to bring my Bible with me. It would be nice to carry around the bible in my pocket so I can listen to the broadcast and follow along with Dr. J. Vernon Mcgee

I used to have some old Logos stuff. It was pretty good. But that was back in the Windows 98 days… Recently, we have been on a very fixed budget. No extra room for extra things while we struggle to eliminate some serious debt. Lord, help us make it through the next two years! A free iPod Touch and this app would be a great opportunity to stay connected to the Word in a very mobile society; especially with four kids who want to be more tech savvy than I can afford to let them be…

I’d love to win that: Bible software is amazing, and God uses it. If I can share a little story:
I was handing in a proposal to a new client a while ago, and couldn’t get to sleep. Eventually, I was talking to God and he gave me the word “angles”.
So I went on study software, and searched for the word, eventually finding it in the Message, in Luke 16, the parable of the Crooked Manager. Anyway, it was crazy relevant to the job I was doing, so I included the verse and the explanation in the proposal – a bit scary, as I had no idea how receptive to that kind of stuff the client was.
Anyway, so a few days go by, and the client calls me in and says “Where did you get this verse”. So I explained, and then he said “A few months ago, we were having cash flow problems as a company, and someone came to us with that exact passage.” You won’t be surprised to hear that I got the job hehe.
But what was so amazing is that God knew I was gonna use new technology to read his word. No way I would have found the word “angles” manually searching through the 5 or so versions of the Bible we have at home. He gave me a massively confirming scripture, through giving me a word to enter into the Search bar. Our God is (technologically) able!

For approximately the last year and a half I have found myself conflicted in my beliefs. I want to believe and feel His presence in my life, but in reality felt that I had no connection with God. I have continued to read your blog which has inspired so many emotions in me from happy to sad, guilty to even jealous. Jealous because I want a relationship with Him too, so why am I struggling so much? I have just in the last few weeks started to attend church again and I am trying to find my way for myself as well as my children. I feel I have selfishly cheated them. I feel I’m ignorant because there is so much I don’t know or have resisted learning about the Bible. I’m wanting to gain knowledge! What an awesome app!!

I think it’d be kinda cool if I had an electronic Bible in my back pocket. I do need the Bible app and the ipod touch because:
1. Bibles make me feel safe (people say I’m slightly paranoid) and its like having wisdom in a compilation
2. I love music and my old trusty ipod broke.
