My Cardigan And Your Underwear
When I think of a cardigan I think of Mr. Rogers.
But I just bought one today from H&M for 3 pounds.
Heather keeps trying to keep me up with the times.
And apparently these things are hip again.
Thank God I married a wife 6 years younger than me.

A hot pink shirt – which I promptly stained the first time I wore. So classic for me.
sounds like me, except it is usually my kids that stain it before I can wear it.
When I taught at a Middle School last year I had to wear a tie. Naturally I went to the goodwill and bought about 50. I now have a ton of awesome ties and a bunch of cardigans.
You can get some great ones at goodwill or salvation army.
I love them in the fall.

It was a t-shirt that I actually bought for someone else, and it ended up being too big. Maybe he should just have his wife wear it as a night shirt. Now THAT would be cool.
That same exact cardigan. Color and everything. Hmmmmm… It’s a sign of our future… I see… Communicating through emails and video chat. I see setting dates and purchasing plane tickets… I don’t know what this means quite yet… I’ll try to suss it out as soon as I can.

i haven’t bought anything in months. my husband and i are trying pare down. we each have two closets and a dresser full of clothes. this month we are not going to do any laundry. at the end of the month we are going to take all the unworn clothes and put them in the basement, if by the end of july we dont’ miss them (ie. go down to the basement to look for “that shirt i used to have.”) they are going to goodwill and we will have only the clothes that we actually wear. i mean, really, we have SO clothes, but why? just to make us feel richer than we are?
