Its a weird, wonderful, natural, Gid given feeling. I looked at my daughter last night, and she gave me this smile that said I have always been yours mama! I love those moments! I still wonder what life was like before family day!
Well put, Los. Both of my boys came to me by adoption, so I know exactly what you mean. While they belonged to another family at first, they 100% are mine.
i catch myself wondering the same thing about my vietnamese born boy… actually i forget that he was not mine for 5 months of his life. my heart tells me he has always been part of me in every way.

I meant to say God given! Oops!

He is gorgeous! I’m so glad you have each other!
His smile brightens the whole picture.
Yes it does!
We feel the same way about our son. It feels fake when I think back on the “journey” to bring him home! It’s wild!
PS….great shot…love his smile!
