I’d check out Pete Buncher debut CD “Come to me with hope”
It’s deep and delicious, he’s one of the best guitar players I’ve ever heard.
I’d definitely check out Pete Buncher’s debut CD “Come to me with hope”
It’s deep & delicious. He is one of the best guitar players I’ve ever heard
Try Eutopian Accident…Dustin does a great job of creativity.
Hugh Morrison

Ryan Axtell’s This Valley. Wow is all I can say. Worship from the deep of one Valley that many may identify with.
Madi Diaz
“The Medicine” by John Mark McMillan (he wrote the song “How He Loves”).

Carlos has been touring with JMM
I second this, got it and love it!

Aussie rockers The Living End’s album White Noise – not Chrsitian but awesome rock and lyrics that give insight into those exposed to ‘religion’ but not quite sure what to make of it
Audrey Assad – The House Your Building. Great album.
Buddy Miller, “Universal United House of Prayer”
Arize Live. Worship with a little flava in it. Fire Burns, my favorite song.
Oh yeah and Tye Tribett ended up covering one of the songs on it.
Michael Maher, Melodies of War
Matt and Kim – Grand
or
Mumford and Sons – Sigh No More
I second Sigh No More!
Caspian-Tertia
honestly one of the best post-rock/instrumental rock albums ever created
Gin Wigmore: I saw her perform last night at a Jamie Cullum concert and she was fantastic and quirky. Check her out- http://www.ginwigmore.com/
Band of Horses is a modern day Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
Grace Potter can flat out sing.
Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros is great.
Also try Mew, for something a little different.
Mumford and Sons is great, but I’m going to repeat what I said on twitter. William Fitzsimmons. Dude was born to two blind parents. Has a pretty awesome story. And again…look at his beard!!!
I said Mumford and Sons on Twitter, but I’d agree William Fitzsimmons as being simply stellar!
I would buy the Passion 2010 album Awakening!
Rend Collective Experiment… Yumm
http://rendcollectiveexperiment.com/
I second that – Rend Collective is simply breathtaking.
Christopher Williams – Something as Simple
I second this one! Good call Eric!
Thad Cockrell – “To Be Loved”
It’s a mix of The Civil Wars, Ron Sexsmith, and my granddad’s gospel quartet. Seriously.
Check out Rosalyn, Beauty Has a Name, and The Master’s Calling.
Any greatest hits collection by Walter Hawkins.
Sara Swenson (www.saraswenson.com)
Cass Harris (www.cassharrismusic.com)
Jared Hard (http://www.myspace.com/jaredhardmusic)
what I’m jamming to right now:
Jack Johnson as always – he’s new album is amazing
Eric Hutchison
Ingrid Michaelson
and Tim Brantley.
What about mine? Includes the song “Victory,” which Los so kindly pimped on here last year. Thanks for the pimping opp again, Los!

Monica Stahl’s “There Is A Place”.
Real nice music. Fantastic soulful voice. She’s opening for Selah next month in Visalia, CA.
Check out her music at http://www.monicastahl.com. She’s also on Itunes and similar sites.
Big fan of Mumford & Sons but since they’ve been mentioned a couple times I will throw out some local SF flavor….The Shotgun Wedding Quintet. They are a jazz hip-hop fusion band. Caution: they use boys locker room language.
Jeremy Casella – RCVRY
Doug Burr- The Shawl (word for word Psalms)
Doug Burr – O Ye Devastator
Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben. 1970′s Brazilian soul/funk. I got this about 4 months ago and have not stopped listening to it. It’s so good Rod Stewart infringed on his copyright.
Tourist HIstory by Two Door Cinema Club (local Lads from Northern Ireland, great album)
I second this.
Amore by Roman Street
David Bazan – Curse Your Branches
Heart breakingly beautiful break up album
the Melancoly pain of slowly loosing faith
check out the album “strangelove” by Elevation (elevationband.com). Specifically check out “razor eyes”.
i’ll guarantee you’ll likey.
Phosphorescent’s Here’s to Taking it Easy seems to be universally loved by cool people but in the interest of full disclosure I haven’t spent my $8.99 for it yet. S. Carey’s All We Grow is disqualified since it doesn’t drop for another month but if the rest of the album is anything like the one track I heard I’ll be buying it. He’s The drummer from Bon Iver if you’re into that sort of thing.
That most people wouldn’t know?
Isa Couvertier “In The Waiting”
Ian McIntosh “Awakened”
Cory Asbury “Let me See Your Eyes”
Pat Green “Three Days”
Adam Cates “Nights At The Big House”
Of course, I totally agree on the JMM…we go way back. Do yourself a favor and try to find “The Song Inside The Sounds Of Breaking Down”, which was where “How He Loves” was first released…This CD is packed FULL of great songs from John Mark McMillan.
Gungor’s “Beautiful Things”
United Pursuit Band… Their song “Running in Circles” is absolutely stunning in it’s heart and simplicity.
I’m gonna go with Tripp Lee’s new cd.
i had never heard him until just the other day, and i was like “i gotta get that.”
Israel Houghton The Power of One.
I would like to see the Whittaker family video remakes of songs like this about the “swagger wagon” – I would buy those in a heartbeat!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql-N3F1FhW4
mmm…music. i’d suggest:
1 – Pomplamoose
2 – Augustana (just saw these guys live in concert. they killed me.)
3 – Matt Nathanson
4 – Jon McLauglin
5 – Regina Spektor
Family Force 5 – business up front, party in the back.
Bluetree – Greater Things
The Jimi Hendrix Experience – Axis: Bold As Love
John mark mcmillan the medicine……he wrote how he loves..it gives the story and most people think kim walker or david crowder wrote it…awesome story though, and the guy has a different sounding voice and good lyrics
Shad – Old Prince Lives At Home (Great Hip Hop Album)
Mumford and Sons – Sign No More (Super awesome)
Josh Ritter – The Curse (Great story writing in his lyrics)
Michael Bernard Fitzgerald – The MBF LOVE LP (Soulful White Kids doing their thing)
Leigh Nash – Blue on Blue. Former lead singer of Sixpence None the Richer. Amazing voice and amazing album!
Probably “Habits” by Neon Trees
Thanks for blessing me with your writings.

“Messenger” by Joe Pug. Esp. if you like good songwriting and a touch of Dylan.
“Last Days @ the Lodge” by Amos Lee. Soulful. Honest.
Though I hear they’re working on their next album, I’d have to say Clemency’s “Vapors”.
Also, anything by Paper Tongues.
Last but not least – “The Gun Show” from Heath McNease.
i highly recommend struan shields new ep “say it soft, say it loud”. he’s got some serious talent and is gonna be huge. the song “without you” is awesome.
Roots and Wings by Chad Strader, a Christian rocker. The first track “I Have Been saved” is his salvation experience.
http://www.chadstrader.com
He is worship leader and pastor at River Pointe church , Richmond, Texas. You can watch some of his Sunday music
at riverpointe.tv or on you tube.
He’s also missional in loving all people, especially the unchurched.
He’s blessed my life and that of many others.
LifePoint Church’s new CD Illuminate- Children of Light. One word. AWESOME. For those who have it…what is your favorite track? Check it out.

A Thousand Shark’s Teeth by My Brightest Diamond.
Particularly the song To Pluto’s Moon, absolutely spectral.
Anything by Matt Papa or Phil Wickham.
