In all honesty I thought I gained.
My trip to LA was a disaster.
Time for you guys to check in…
Link to your specific post below!
I need your help.
July is traveling month.
What can I do to stick to a diet on the road?
Los

Starve? Yeah, I’m lots of help! But even most fast food places have salads or chuck the bread on those burgers and you’re good.
Good luck!
1. You have weird toes.
2. Your wife has the best smile.
3. Make us proud this next week. Zero tolerance for slacking, and you promised exercise, show us how to do that on the road.
oh wow, i just thought he was doing a handstand.
Good luck with eating/exercising on the road. My husband is on the road now too and he has the hardest time. Especially because they always have a beer and eat late at night after the concerts… I love your vids, especially when you and Heather are real and don’t edit out your tifs… Tell Heather to blog something! I miss her posts!!
Ah, the challenge. Well, strained my ITD band so running to burn calories has suffered. BUT, started late to the game after you babbled about it.. at 207. today: 201.6
WOOT
I should also preface that I am on the road for work about 3 days per week. I should really pack my P90X weight bands.. and maybe the videos to watch on the laptop. Like everything else in life- it comes down to personal disciplines… *sigh*
weight watchers is awesome. u can eat out and splurge in moderation.
as of Thursday morning I lost 1 lb. This morning i went back up a pound. Official weight watchers weigh in is tomorrow. Either way I either lost a pound or stayed the same.
Not the best week, but good because I actually caught myself emotionally eating. I’ve known it happens, but it have never been caught in the act. Doing better this week.
next week will be a horror show. on vaca in seattle.
See if you can stop at supermarkets – buy fresh fruit or salads, make sandwiches on the go (I have to do this anyway because I have food intolerances – pre-prepared food tends to have something in it that will make me ill). There’s also nothing wrong with getting an orange juice or glass of water in the pub (and it might save you some pennies too).
It is possible to avoid junk food ‘on the road’ – it just might take a little bit of creativity. And having your own knife handy to spread or cut food with.
i missed a week of check in, but since #sexyback11 started i’ve gone from 215 to 209. #winning
Please read my blog and god willing repost to your social networks. I really need all your helps. http://myfamilyisalways1st.blogspot.com/ May God look down upon all of us and bless us with wisdom and renewed faith.
A free app called http://www.loseit.com turned me into a data-entry freak and helped me lose ~12 pounds since Feb. Found out about it through Michael Hyatt’s blog: http://michaelhyatt.com/how-i-used-technology-to-lose-11-pounds-in-6-weeks.html It gives me a daily calorie budget, which *increases* when I exercise. VERY motivating to know where I stand, calorie-wise, at any point during the day. For example, I can budget for a banana split by doing my morning run. Now I’m in the habit of asking for nutritional guides at fast-food places so I can make healthier, lower-calorie meal choices. Or…if I’m going to blow it…at least mitigate the damage. Don’t give up! If I can lose weight and keep it off, anybody can.
You gotta keep moving your body. Find a way you enjoy to keep moving. Dance, speed walk, go up and down steps. The more you move the more energy you will have, the more calories you will burn, the healthier you will be, and the better you will look. God designed our bodies to stay in motion!!!! Don’t sit – Move. Also try using a smaller plate when you eat. You’ll be surprised in the difference it will make. Eat from a salad plate not a dinner plate.
