Hey there. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes i put my church work ahead of my family and it bothers me. I know that perfect balance is impossible, but i am trying real hard to keep things in perspective. GOD, FAMILY, CHURCH etc.
That was very cool.
Props to you, bro! Thanks for being so transparent and real. Love the tat!
Oh, and you’re music’s pretty cool too.
dude! i didnt know you were on LA Ink. my mom watches that show alllll the time and i bet she will remember you. I use to go to Sandals and i remember you leading the worship! good times, miss you! amazing tat too. Im a chicken, needles scare me lol
Wow… I’m just seeing this for the first time. I love the light you put out there bro!
Carlos, that is an awsome tat. I just watched and Hannah did an unbelievable job.
LA ink is an awesome show, I really love the cool tattoos, that are done during the show. A great source of inpiration.
Is it morally right as a worship leader and example to teens to have such tattoos all over ur arms? Dont u think u need to be more like concious of not sending the wrong idea out to people.
DONT YOU THINK HAVING ALL THOSE TATTOOS SENDS THE WRONG MESSAGE ACROSS? UR A CHRISTIAN AND NOT ONLY THAT…. A WORSHIP LEADER.
as a follower of christ and a fellow tattoo bearer, I wanted to share this great thought provoking article put out by ransom fellowship on tattoos and a biblical worldview. It is written by a pastor/seminary professor who ministers in New Zealand.

I think its a little quick to judge.. See the very thing that drives people AWAY from churches are people being judgmental. So try to keep in perspective that judging is God’s job, not ours..
well said there!!
Why do you think tattoos send the wring message? And who says tattoos are wrong? Not God.
I tattoo to celebrate my faith in God, not in an idolitrous way, but more a reminder to myself that God was there for me at the darkest times. I have a dove flying through the wind, on a backdrop of burning sunset across my shoulders and a celtic cross, in the small of my back
It probably wasn’t right to put words in God’s mouth on that last comment of mine. But I still hold to my view that tats are not sinful.

ok ok ok … transparent , translucent and all those other ‘t’ words… That’s you homie!!!
Yeah, I can see how getting a tattoo on a very popular TV show and getting to use that platform to talk about how God has changed you and talk to a probably un-churched person one-on-one is a bad thing. Also, the tattoo is of Saul, and he killed Christians! Shame!
Sweet tattoo, man, and what an awesome opportunity to share Jesus with people!

Carlos, I knew you had the tats, but I didn’t know why. After watching your episode of LA Ink, I can’t think of a better reason to have one. Love you, bro!
While at Catalyst West this year our staff got ours done at LA Ink…we didnt make the show though
However I did interrupt shooting with my cell phone blowing up
THANKS FOR THE POST MAN. THE TATOO LOOKS AWESOME SUCH A GREAT TESTIMONY. I AGREE THAT IT CAN BE SO EASY TO NEGLECT THOSE YOU MOST LOVE TO MINISTRY. IT IS A CONSTANT STRUGGLE, BUT LATELY ME TOO HAVE I PRIORITIZED MY TIME WITH MINISTRY COMPARED TO FAMILY.
What an incredible job.. i’ve been wanting to get a Christ glorifying tattoo for some time now but i keep changing my mind on what i want to get..
lol @ church gangsters that say tattoos are wrong..
I remember watching that episode!!
Saw your episode of LA Ink on Netflix last night. Made me want another tattoo.
The fact that you’re an artist, pastor, thinker and have an awesome tattoo is inspiring. Thanks for being cool and Christian and showing me that you can be and do all that and still be a representative of Christ to the world.
Thank you! I don’t watch the show, however, I found your testimony, and your transparency, moving. As a wife and mother, I find it difficult to always juggle things “perfectly”. Thank God for moments of clarity. My prayers are with you and your family. Thank again for sharing.
Bro, great testimony. It sucks sometimes that it takes hurt to get back on track. I feel like it takes that for me weekly and sometimes daily. This, my man, truly inspired me today. Thanks!
I am sooooo thankful that you were able to recognize how important it is to take care of your relationship with your family before it was too late. So many of my friends in ministry ended up losing everything because they were so busy with their work at the church that they forgot their ministry with their family. The tat is a great reminder of that. Good choices.
Great share, too cool!! Love LA Ink! Inspired!
