i found a link to your website from “adoptive dads”. i’m an adoptive mom, but i still like to keep in touch w/ my husband’s perspective. ;)
i love hearing/seeing people’s adoption stories, and this was no exception. an enjoyably documented journey. wish i was tech savvy enough to do the same with our journey. you and your wife seem like great people, and you have a beautiful family. thanks so much for sharing!

great production. I stayed up way too late watching! It is truly a blessing for you and by you to bring Losiah into your home.

I do want to add that two of the clips have no sound. Not sure if you can re-edit them with a song that won’t get blocked.

Thanks for letting all of us into your life.

I just want to say how much I have loved looking at your site. I actually was brought to it from aol.com with the video of “Single Ladies”. I absolutely love your blog. I am Korean and was also adopted. Thank you for sharing your life and your wisdom with so many people. It is truly appreciated and I can’t wait to read more!

I was so touched by your videos! I am a korean adoptee, 28 years of age and I now have my own family and it’s so beautiful when I see families adopting children. Truly a blessing you and your family is to Losiah…he’s just so adorable. my heart went out to the foster mother. God Bless you guys!

Hi there! I just saw the video of your adorable little boy on youtube and I must say he broke my heart! I sent the video to all my friends and since it is also on Ray William Johnson’s channel, you can be sure everyone will see how much your family is awesome! By the way, your two daughters dancing on Single Ladies are the cutest! Bless you for taking so much care of your children and I hope everything will continue to go smoothly for each one of you!

    Pascale :D

PS: You are not a horrible father. Far from it!

Your son is precious. Just watched him assert his right to be a single lady. Wondering though why you as a black American man flew all the way to Korea to adopt a child when there are so many children here that need homes.

      Well, I’m not black…
      LOL.
      And Korea chose us…

Love the video, love your story. Wondering how many children Dawn has adopted domestically?

Shannon (mom to 3 including Amelia adopted from Vietnam–she says Losiah has pretty black hair just like her!)

    Hey Carlos,

It’s so funny to me that I ran into your website a couple weeks ago. I cant even remember how I got here, but I’m glad I did.

I am a worship leader here in South Korea, and have been for three years.

I am encouraged to see these videos, and want to say thank you so much for making this an issue to get this knowledge out to people. Adoption in korean culture is still something that is not really done. The funny thing is that it’s very cheap for natives, which is totally opposite of what you had to go through I am sure. My wife is Korean, and we have been talking about adoption over the last few months, and we just found out that we’re pregnant, so although it is something we want to do, we will probably have to wait.

If there is anything that we can do to help get this out, or help aid you in doing that, please let us know. There is a huge movement going on here, and we would love to talk to you more about getting involved.

    Thanks again!

Really sweet story, i think i had to cry about ten times while watching this. Please be really careful what you post online, i hope Losiah one day in an amused spirit will understand how much joy and laughter his cuteness in that car video clip brought to the world.

GREAT job sharing your story of adoption with the World! ;-)

I’m in turkey right now and last night I cried as I watched some of your videos adopting Losiah. I tried watching the support raising video but there was no sound. I’d love to hear any tips you have for support raising. We are in the process of adoption 3 more for a total of 6 children. Thanks so much Grace, Joann
