i found a link to your website from “adoptive dads”. i’m an adoptive mom, but i still like to keep in touch w/ my husband’s perspective.
i love hearing/seeing people’s adoption stories, and this was no exception. an enjoyably documented journey. wish i was tech savvy enough to do the same with our journey. you and your wife seem like great people, and you have a beautiful family. thanks so much for sharing!
I am a soon to be adoptive mom through Holt! My husband was adopted through Holt 33 yrs ago. We are very excited. Thankyou for posting this video.

We would like to have an opportunity to interview you for our audience at gospel360obline.com and talk about your amazing journey from nothing to everything.
great production. I stayed up way too late watching! It is truly a blessing for you and by you to bring Losiah into your home.
I do want to add that two of the clips have no sound. Not sure if you can re-edit them with a song that won’t get blocked.
Thanks for letting all of us into your life.

I just want to say how much I have loved looking at your site. I actually was brought to it from aol.com with the video of “Single Ladies”. I absolutely love your blog. I am Korean and was also adopted. Thank you for sharing your life and your wisdom with so many people. It is truly appreciated and I can’t wait to read more!
I was so touched by your videos! I am a korean adoptee, 28 years of age and I now have my own family and it’s so beautiful when I see families adopting children. Truly a blessing you and your family is to Losiah…he’s just so adorable. my heart went out to the foster mother. God Bless you guys!
Hi there! I just saw the video of your adorable little boy on youtube and I must say he broke my heart! I sent the video to all my friends and since it is also on Ray William Johnson’s channel, you can be sure everyone will see how much your family is awesome! By the way, your two daughters dancing on Single Ladies are the cutest! Bless you for taking so much care of your children and I hope everything will continue to go smoothly for each one of you!

PS: You are not a horrible father. Far from it!
Your son is precious. Just watched him assert his right to be a single lady. Wondering though why you as a black American man flew all the way to Korea to adopt a child when there are so many children here that need homes.
Well, I’m not black…
LOL.
And Korea chose us…
Love the video, love your story. Wondering how many children Dawn has adopted domestically?
Shannon (mom to 3 including Amelia adopted from Vietnam–she says Losiah has pretty black hair just like her!)
Hey Carlos,
It’s so funny to me that I ran into your website a couple weeks ago. I cant even remember how I got here, but I’m glad I did.
I am a worship leader here in South Korea, and have been for three years.
I am encouraged to see these videos, and want to say thank you so much for making this an issue to get this knowledge out to people. Adoption in korean culture is still something that is not really done. The funny thing is that it’s very cheap for natives, which is totally opposite of what you had to go through I am sure. My wife is Korean, and we have been talking about adoption over the last few months, and we just found out that we’re pregnant, so although it is something we want to do, we will probably have to wait.
If there is anything that we can do to help get this out, or help aid you in doing that, please let us know. There is a huge movement going on here, and we would love to talk to you more about getting involved.
Thanks again!

Really sweet story, i think i had to cry about ten times while watching this. Please be really careful what you post online, i hope Losiah one day in an amused spirit will understand how much joy and laughter his cuteness in that car video clip brought to the world.
Awesome series of videos, I love your story, and thank you so much for sharing. Losiah is so adorable, and definitely blessed. Grace, love and strength to your entire family!
GREAT job sharing your story of adoption with the World!
I’m in turkey right now and last night I cried as I watched some of your videos adopting Losiah. I tried watching the support raising video but there was no sound. I’d love to hear any tips you have for support raising. We are in the process of adoption 3 more for a total of 6 children. Thanks so much Grace, Joann
sound is kind of messed up on the 4th video :/
But I enjoyed all of these. My husband and I have thought about adopting many times
My younger sister arrived from South Korea over thirty years ago.
Thank you for sharing your story with the world and showcasing the normality of international adoption.
I truly enjoyed watching your adoption journey today. Just before watching this, I put our preliminary application in the mail for our adoption from Korea. We are so excited and trusting in God to make this possible!
God bless you all for the wonderful thing you have done!
great job in making this world a better place, sir. thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this story, My brother is from Korea he is now 31 years old and i remember the joy that I got when he came home I was so proud of him and his life. I apprecaite your capturing of this. My husband and I will be adopting soon we are not sure from where we know it will be soon though as god has placed it in our hearts. Thank you again for sharing this journey.. what a blessing you are to Losiah. Complete blessing
I found you and your beautiful family on Youtube and as I watched “Losiah’s adoption-update 11″, I had to call my 23 year-old son Dan to see it. You see, Dan is a Korean adoptee and as I watched, tears rolled down my cheeks remembering when we went to Detroit Airport to bring him home. I also have a 20 year-old daughter, Lauren, who is from Korea. Dan and I also watched Losiah’s rendition of Justin Bieber and I remembered when he was about 3 and would walk around the house singing “Another Day in Paradise” by Phil Collins. Dan is now a musician and writes and performs his music in a band called Carina. You should check out his Youtube videos under Carina Kent Ohio. Dan said Losiah reminds him of himself at that age and will probably be musically gifted. I am so thankful for people like yourself, who understand the blessing of adoption. God bless you and your family!
This was the most emotionally beautiful thing I’ve seen on the internet. What a wonderfully joyious and emotional experience. Thank you for sharing it with the world! Good luck to you and your family!
This is just beyond amazing!!u are great people and u have a great beautiful family!.. I want to adopt a child one day, but unfortunately adoption is illegal where i come from(Jordan) but I am going to try my very best to make my dream come true!!
ps: were ur girls adopted too?…
God bless you.
Wow! I just heard about your blog and had to watch the process of Losiah’s adoption. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. What a blessing! Also, I have a question– did you live in the houses/condos by Victoria Gardens in Fontana, CA? I thought I heard you mention Vic Gardens in Korea and then your house looked just like my friend’s house out here. I am literally a mile away! How awesome is that?! Congrats on finding your son– I know he is a bit older now, but the story is touching just the same. God bless!
