It is January 1st.
There is a big dream you desire to get this year.
I am 100%, completely convinced that you can get it.
Here is how I plan on getting mine and it think can help you get yours.
I’m not some dream architect, but common sense proves better than books and seminars sometimes.

1.  Make your dream chase you. Don’t chase your dream.

Put it on your phone home screen.
With a Sharpie on your bathroom mirror.
Tattooed on your wrist.
Hang it from your rear view mirror.
Laptop screen saver.
As an alarm on your phone 3 times a day.
Whatever you can do to have it chase you down and stay in your face.
Do it.

2.  Realize that owning the dream beginning is just as powerful as owning the dream ending.

Just because you don’t own the end of the dream doesn’t mean you don’t own the dream.
If you know you will have more swag when you get your dream, then walk with swag from the kitchen to the car.
If you know you will have more money when you get your dream, then start caring for your money like you should and will.
If you know you will have more time for your kids when you get your dream, then make them wonder where all the time came from now.
If you know you will sing in front of thousands at the end of your dream, then sing in front of 20 and blow their minds

3.  Surround yourself with dream kerosine and not dream extinguishers.

When you have a dream, it is important that you surround yourself with people that will help your dream explode and not put out your dream.
There are people who want to constantly doubt your dream.
There are people who want to dilute your dream.
There are people who want to put out your dream.
There are people who want to laugh at your dream.
Not only do you need to not surround yourself with these people, you need to completely disconnect from them having ANY sort of conversation about your dream.
It’s not because they don’t love you.
Most of them probably do.
It’s more because they want to protect you.
Protect you from the hurt of not achieving your dreams.
This does not make them bad people.
It just makes them bad dream people.

Take these 3 points or leave them.
But I’m going to blow your minds this year by achieving more than I have ever imagined.
And I’d like you to blow mine.
Start running.

I normally would NEVER ask you to watch 10 minutes of anything. Especially if it doesn’t seem to change the world.
But if you are a creator.
Then I beg you to watch these 2 videos equaling 10 minutes.
The first is just mind blowing, from 2 perspectives.
1. The creativity of the machine
2. The creativity of the camera operator who nailed it in one shot.
The second is the money though.
Great food for thought in your execution of your creative endeavors.

I’ve been blessed to learn from some of the best creatives and leaders on the planet.
And I don’t want to wait until I’m 60 to pour it back out.
So that is why 2 years ago I started the creative coaching network.
A 3 month journey into growing your creative and idea muscles as well as helping you streamline your systems.

I’m taking my coaching process and doing a one month long slam course.
Shoving 3 months of coaching into 1 month.
We will meet 3 times in groups for assignments and learning and then you’ll get an hour with me via Skype going into whatever you see fit.
I’ve had a musicians, lead pastors, dentists, audio engineers, authors, and even stay at home moms join in to the creative chaos of this network. So ALL of you are fit to grow in your creativity.

Like I said before…
For 9 years at Sandals Church, in the grunt, in the hustle, going it with mostly volunteers, I would literally pray I could get an hour with someone who has done what I was trying to do b4.
I would beg, borrow, and I’m sure steal to get those moments.
I’d drive 40 minutes to Saddleback to meet with Rick Muchow and Justin Adams.
I would take a pad of paper and a pen and go at them.
Poor guys.
I went to the conferences and most of the time, would leave with great information that would make me more dangerous than useful.
I needed more. I wanted more. And I got more.
And here I sit. For almost 2 years I have sat in what I would consider the Creative Leadership Academy of America.
Or Buckhead Church.
I don’t think I’m Mr. God’s Gift To Creative Heads. But I do feel like God had blessed me with knowledge and aptitude when it comes to leading creative teams and individuals.

So. That being said. I’m continuing on my network for Creatives.
Quite simple. All video chat. Me, you, a few others.
These teams, myself included, will meet once a month for an hour, via video chat so we can all see each others beautiful faces and get our assignment and such.
Then I will meet one on one with you via video chat for an hour later that month for one on one coaching and all out Q and A.

It all starts in October. It is not for everyone. So there is an application and a commitment.
I realize there is a need for creatives to network and grow.
