Hey. I have no idea if you’ll even read this. My name is Samuel Guillermo. I’m 26 years old. I’ve been Creative Director (at my church this means i’m in charge of the music and what goes up on the projector) at my church for about 7 years. And recently i’ve been having this struggle with feeling like i’m not moving forward. Like something is stagnent or hindering growth in my local church. I’ve thought just about every idea, read so many books. And we’re in the same place.
It seems like every time we are in the midst of something, obstacles come running our way. Whether its division or the bank threatening to take the building. I honestly feel like I’m at the end of my ropes. I know my potential for church leadership and have tried and exercised all my strength.
Its a spanish speaking church in NYC. I am a PK. I’m running out of patience, time, energy, i feel spiritually exhausted. I literally came off the stage from leading worship and have extended this message to you in hopes of the words of wisdom. Maybe some recommendations, a book, a prayer, a friend. idk..
